About Us:
Baker-Miller Lumber Inc. is a locally owned and respected retail lumber yard, known for delivering high-quality materials and excellent customer service. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dependable Delivery Driver to lead the way in getting materials to our customers safely and on time. A clean driving record is mandatory for this role.

This is primarily a driving position, but when deliveries are light, you’ll pitch in with general yard work and customer support—helping keep things running smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities (Delivering Building Materials):

• Safely deliver building materials to job sites
• Ensure loads are properly secured and delivered accurately and on time
• Maintain delivery logs and follow all DOT and company safety protocols
• Represent the company professionally at job sites and with customers

Secondary Responsibilities (Yard Support):

• Assist customers courteously in the lumber yard
• Help build and load orders when not driving
• Operate forklift to load/unload and stock materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
• Assist with inventory checks and reporting discrepancies

What We’re Looking For:

• CDL Class B license (a plus)
• Clean driving record (required)
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift heavy materials
• Basic math and reading skills
• Knowledge of building materials and forklift experience is a plus

Schedule:

• Full-time, 8-hour shifts
• Monday–Friday
• Rotating Saturdays
