The Database Management Associate is responsible for customizing CBORD customer databases. The work can be in conjunction with a new CBORD customer getting started with their implementation or current customers adding on a module or project.
What You’ll be Doing
Database Services Projects
· Accept project assignments from the Database Services Team Leader, regardless of reporting manager
· Own project including keeping to committed delivery date and addressing issues
· Hold responsibility for keeping Database Services Team Leader aware of project status and issues
· Interface with Implementation Representatives and clients to ensure expectations are
established and met
· Assist in coding client data conforming to established Database Services standards
· Participate in project debriefing
Maintaining Large Customer Database
· Create and maintain key client database for use in field sites that will minimally include settings, items (recipe and non-recipes) menus (master and regional), and nutritional analysis
· Perform quality assurance tasks on database for field use
· Work closely with client project team including CBORD Project Management, Implementation, Support, and Sales members, client corporate staff, client field sites, and manufacturers
· Maintain client database for use in training sessions under close guidance from the Project Manager
· Establish field data distribution procedures in accordance with standard CBORD procedures
· Distribute regular database updates to the client in accordance with standard CBORD procedures
Other Responsibilities
· Maintain CBORD’s Sample Database
· Maintain CBORD’s Starter Database
· Train database services staff on system functionality and client operations
What You’ll Bring to the Table
· Bachelor’s degree preferred
· Two years of experience desired
· Beginner skills in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
· Ability to type 60-70 words per minute
· Strong ability to multi-task and change tasks and focus as needed
· Ability to deliver commitments on time with necessary communication to appropriate parties
· Ability to accept responsibility and ownership for issues and personal development
· Ability to work with clients at varying skills levels within an organization
· Understanding of data from data entry to use in field sites and impact to end-users
· Ability to learn quickly without direction

· Passion for CBORD’s customer which is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience
· Food production, nutrition, and/or POS experience preferred
· CBORD systems experience preferred
