What You Will Do:
As a member of the Statler Hotel’s Management Team, you will help us with the overall management of the Housekeeping Department. You will be responsible for daily operation of the department, ensuring quality and service standards are met, providing direction to staff, anticipating and responding to operational needs. You will participate in the recruiting, hiring, training and supervision of all staff.
You will also participate in the teaching mission by providing coaching and mentoring to student employees of the department and by cooperating with faculty and students as a part of classes or research that may be integrated into the operation.
You will also participate in the management of the facility, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas, the proper functioning of furnishings, fixtures, and systems, alerting Maintenance staff of issues that need attention.
You will assist with the administrative management duties, including: scheduling and weekly payroll duties, planning, budgeting, forecasting and meeting financial goals, conducting inventories, complete projects, participate in management meetings and committees.

Our ideal candidate will have the right combination of education, housekeeping supervisory service experience, job skills, and personal attributes to be an effective manager and leader in a busy, upscale hotel.
A Statler Management Team Member should be a highly motivated, dynamic individual with a professional demeanor and superior customer service skills, indicative of a AAA rated Four Diamond hotel.
The candidate must have the potential to develop effective leadership and supervisory skills and style and must have the ability to assist with the training, coaching and mentoring of college students in an experiential learning environment.
With a business volume that frequently changes throughout the year, the candidate must be able to meet a flexible work schedule, that may include evenings, weekends and holidays.
