The position of Production Generalist supports multiple areas within production. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. This position requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Daily chamber operations in the T chamber room
• Substrate cleaning -wet and dry cleaning
• Post coat inspection
• Packaging
• Painting with pre coat 33
• Cutting as needed
• Assist with Training as required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training:

Extensive background with materials used in protective coatings for optical components, together with vacuum equipment capability, is required.

Experience:

A degree in materials, chemistry metallurgy or physics is desirable, not required

Knowledge/Skills:

Must be capable of assessing variations in processes, materials, analyze data and resolve problems.

Handling various materials and glass.

_ PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: _

The position requires peer interaction 20%, equipment/facilities maintenance 40%, walking /standing/sitting 40%

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Operates in a manufacturing facility with heavy emphasis on vacuum equipment together with handling of glass and chemicals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
